(October 15, Beijing) Women's Go team event of the first World Mind Sports Games concluded with Chinese team seizing the title after 2-1 win over Korea. Thus, Chinese delegation so far collected 8 golds, 6 silvers and 6 bronzes in the Games, topping the overall standing.

In the finals, Chinese Wang Xiangyun and Tang Yi upset thier respective rivals to turn the tie after Chinese Zheng Yan resigning to Kim Hyeoimin in the first game. Korea claimed the silver medal and Japan won the bronze.
